We are coming to a point where Kaylee would prefer to be read to over watching her favorite television show.  I am so happy to see this.  The television is definitely a force to be reckoned with.  It is tough on my end,  to keep up with her insatiable desire to be read to.  It helps, though that I love the stories as much as she does.  Currently, she is enjoying Stuart Little by E.B White and Uncle Arthur's Bedtime Stories by Uncle Arthur.  The later I am reading for the first time and enjoyin the little mouse and his fearless adventures for the first time with Kaylee.. and Aliyah for that matter.  The latter has special meaning to me.  My dad read those books to me and my grandma read them to my mom.  I am thrilled to see Kaylee enjoying them as much as I did.  I hope she can one day read them to her kids! For now, I am pleased just to see her turn the television off to bring me a book.
